welcome rev. Lori Lundblad

The ABC Dakotas has called Rev. Lori Dvirnak Lundblad to be their next Associate Executive Minister.  Rev. Lori's term of service as Associate Executive Minister will begin November 15, 2023.

Lori felt the call to full time ministry when she attended the University of Sioux Falls (SD) where she received BA degrees in Psychology and Religions Studies. After graduation, she attended Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Theological

Seminary) in Wynnewood (PA) and received her Masters of Divinity.

Lori began her professional ministry service as Associate Pastor of Youth and Christian Education at the Baptist Church of West Chester (PA). She served as Pastor at First Baptist Church of Rock Springs (WY).

For the past 12 years, Lori has worked at CHI Health at Home (Bismarck, ND) as Hospice Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator as well as being Chaplain Coordinator for seven agencies in ND and MN.

As a chaplain, Lori has accompanied patients and families on the sacred journey home to God. In 2016 she was the featured chaplain by the North Dakota Chaplain’s Association. From chaplaincy to serving a small church in rural Wyoming to a surburban Philadelphia congregation, each ministry setting has been an opportunity to build relationships with people and grow in Christ.

Lori is married to Martin Lundblad and lives in Bismarck (ND) where they raised their two sons, Micah and Ben. She enjoys gardening and playing with their family pets.

church of hope visit

On December 10-11, 2022 a few members of the Church of Hope Steering Committee had an opportunity to worship with Church of Hope congregants at the South Dakota Women's Prison.   This was a great encouragement to both the congregation and visitors.

Picture shows steering committee members, friends of Church of Hope and ABC Dakotas staff members, who also worshipped at FBC Pierre.

welcoming a new member church into our fellowship!

The Karen Baptist Church of Aberdeen was officially welcomed into the fellowship of ABC Dakotas on May 20, 2020.  Pastor Nu Pay and his congregation have been meeting at First Baptist Aberdeen for several years, but still wanted to officially become a part of the ABC Dakotas family.  The small group pictured recently worked to help the church become incorporated in the State of South Dakota.

We welcome our brothers and sisters in Christ of the Karen Baptist Church of Aberdeen!
